While traveling today, the blue sky and many fluffy white clouds caused me to think of Georgia O'Keeffe's very large painting of clouds that I saw at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Leanne created on my wrist an "original work of art" at today's ILMA meeting. As I have seen it numerous times today, I am reminded of the many blessings in my life. I am thankful that God has given me such wonderful friends. ILMA rocks!

Studio JOY

Cluttered, messy, and unorganized are three words that you could use to describe a studio that has been used for creating wonderful works of art. They are also words that can bring tears to the person that has to try to actually function in that space. 


One afternoon, while Leanne and I were grumbling about the condition of our studios, we had a Eureka! We thought, why don't we help each other clean up our studios. It would be way more fun if we did it together, and what we have found is that another person's ideas can be extremely helpful in putting things into perspective.  We have called this time share, "Studio Joy," and let me tell you, it really is joy. To have such transformation of a space in just a small amount of time, is almost indescribable.  Thank you Leanne for making my closet a joy to get into. Big hugs, Nancy

While traveling I was able to have an art session with two friends. I showed them how to make collage bookmarks. They loved it and I loved showing them how!

while meditating this morning i was inspired to create this yellow and white felt daisy to sit on for my "task chair"...it makes me smile...creating micromovements of delight for getting started working. i got the idea of micromovements (and delight!) from the teleclass i'm doing currently with sark. visit www.planetsark.com for more delightful inspiration!
